Job Description

At Laboratorios Borinquen, we are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer service–oriented Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. This role plays a key part in welcoming visitors, managing phone calls, and providing administrative support, contributing to a positive experience for clients, vendors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls.
  • Handle correspondence, mail, and general documentation.
  • Provide support with basic administrative tasks (filing, scheduling appointments, internal coordination).
  • Maintain the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Schedule appointments and provide general information about the company.
  • Support other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; technical or college studies preferred.
  • Previous experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles (minimum of 1 year preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office).
  • Professional attitude, punctuality, and strong customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service within corporate or healthcare environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
