Security Officer

Job Description

At Laboratorios Borinquen, we are seeking a responsible and committed Part-Time Security Officer to help protect our facilities, staff, and visitors. This position is key to maintaining a safe, orderly environment in compliance with the company’s established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of facilities, employees, and visitors.
• Control access of people and vehicles according to established procedures.
• Conduct periodic inspection rounds.
• Report any irregular situations, incidents, or unsafe conditions.
• Comply with security and emergency protocols.
• Maintain basic records of incidents and access.
• Provide support during emergency situations when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Previous experience in security or surveillance (preferred).
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or night shifts if necessary.
• Good judgment, responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor.

Preferred Competencies

• Valid security guard license (if applicable).
• Basic knowledge of security protocols and access control.
• Proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
